“My manager and I met with Lori in the middle of February 2023.  I had so many ideas of how I should run my small business based on really everyone else's ideas.  What I mean by that is, there seem to be expectations of how to keep up with social media, how to approach sales, and how to "look" professional.

After meeting with Lori at TCM, I was able to feel good about taking "my" ideas and applying them to how I personally view my small business. She helped me understand that my ideas and my people-personality are where my drive is. Lori helped me to understand that building my company based on building relationships with our customers is exactly where I can land and this is where I find [and have found] my success.

I would recommend allowing TCM to give you direction and advice in your business adventure.

I had to leave town for a family situation right after we had our initial meeting, I was pleased to see [increased] sales in that two weeks with my manager putting into practice the advice of TCM.”

Melody Ginn, Owner

The Laughing Willow

Laughing Willow was a thriving small boutique business located in the popular Bishop Arts District in Dallas, TX. The owner, wanting to pivot the business to an online platform in order to have more time with family, found herself between ending one retail business to start another with a different market focus. Through the workbook session, we were able to pinpoint some key “wins” the business has had, which helped it survive covid, and we found a few disconnects within the brand’s trajectory and got to the root of them. By setting aside things that were no longer serving the brand and leaning into the realms that were working, the brand saw an increase in sales.

INSPIRATION: Melody is a people person with a big heart. It was fun to be in her presence and see the way she naturally follows her passion and goes where the fun is. It was a great reminder to play more and only do the work we love.
